Summary: I own the original for PS2 with a strategy guide which I dont know how I got, because I cant find it anywhere. I am waiting patiently for my PSP copy to arrive. Tactics Ogre and Final Fantasy Tactics are probably my 2 favorite games of all time. You will not be disappointed, but keep in mind, this can be an extremely long game at times with battles taking 30-60mins at times. MUST BUY!!!!
Summary: Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together is the ideal tactics game for those who loved the oldschool classics (they just don't make them like they used to, right?) not only because it keeps the good parts, but because it innovates in areas that you may not have expected. The "Chariot" tarot card, for example, allows you to "undo" back to a previous character move during a battle, allowing you to take big risks and then try again from a very specific point.
Summary: When I purchased this game I was skeptical, after loving Final Fantasy
Tactics Advance I wasn't sure if this game would live up to the high bar that
had been set. Boy was I suprised when this blew it out of the water. Fantastic
game! A must have for anyone who loves turn based games.
Summary: Slight Spoiler: This game is more like Final Fantasy Tactics than Ogre Battle March of the Black Queen. Combat is fun without being wacky. Characters pretty much use skills from their own class, and one class isn't really better than another. I'm quite fond of the craft option at the store that lets you improve existing weapons and make things. Also, the weapons and armor system mean you won't be buying new stuff after every fight. So yeah this game is almost perfect.
Summary: One of the new additions of this game is the ability to jump around in time after completion of the story mode. This feature allows you to play through the lawful, neutral and chaotic paths while keeping all of your hard earned loot and skill points; without having to start the game anew every time. The story is very well developed and the classes are distinct and plentiful.
