Excerpt: Jak 3 is obviously the third installment in a series of 4, and I'm going to be reviewing it on the Playstation 2. The first is called Jak and Daxter, the second Jak II: Renegade, and this, the third, Jak 3. There is now also Jak X available. The story The story of the game is that Jak is a 'dark eco freak', so is banished to the desert, and is joined by Daxter, Jak's companion from the famous game 'Jak and Daxter'.
Summary: I loved the original Jak and Daxter. I was shocked with the complexity of Jak 2. I hated it even. Jak 3 is better than Jak 2, but it combines some elements of the second in the series with the adventure in the first. The problem is that you are sent running back and forth across this city, over and over, solving the same types of puzzles over and over again. Race over here, pick that up, bring it back before the time runs out.
Summary: Well, I played this for about 2 minutes at a friend's house and I got bored. I was playing the ridiculous gladiator level at the beginning and this random purple electricity came along and Jac suddenly was suspended in mid-air then some lava came through the ground then Jac did a weird dance and died. I did warn you... NEVER play this game.
Summary: if you liked the game jak 2 you will like this game even more. you get to fight for to new cities now, haven city and spargus city. haven city has fallen into ruins and the krimzon guards creation the krimzon death bots have gotten a new leader and have attacked and smashed haven city. the krimzon guards are much better soldiers and are actually on your side for once in the whole series.they are covered in blue armor and call them selves the freedom league.
Finds a middle ground between the mediocrity of the first title and the excellence of the second

Summary: In a way, Jak 3 is more of a direct sequel to chapter two than it is a continuation of the storyline that was established in part one. I realize that this was meant to be the end of a journey, a "coming of age" story that follows the title character through his innocence, his adolescence, and finally his ascent into adulthood.
Summary: Note: This review is spoiler free with regards to the game's story All good things must eventually come to an end, such as the star wars series, the lord of the rings trilogy, and the Jak and Daxter trilogy (not including the racing game and Daxter's own PSP game). After two excellent games, our favorite elfin friend and his furry sidekick come to the last entry in the Jak trilogy. The big question is: Is it a good ending? I'm pleased to say that overall, yes.
Summary: Let me just put this in simple words. Jak 3 is the best jak game ever and i'll explain it in full detail now. Basically from the last game (Jak 2: renegade) Jak has been kicked out of Haven city into a wasteland because of his behaviour with the dark powers. He is later found in the game by wastelanders who rescue him. The game introduces new characters, Jak's father!
Summary: I know a fun game when I see one. I haven't played Jak 2 but I can tell this game definetely beats it. There are tons of levels with 3 huge worlds to run around in. A cool thing is that you have lots of freedom in what you do. After you complete a mission, on your way to the next one, you can just run around, explore, do minigames, and kill people as long as you want until you feel like doing some work.
Summary: J2 set a new standard for game versatility. It had racing, shooting, action platform, puzzle, jetboarding, and strategy. Every kind of gameplay was represented and that was what made it stand out. J3 on the other hand is 75% racing. Since I'm not a huge racing fan, it hurts the game a little for me. Don't get me wrong. The game is fun, and judging it on its merits alone, it deserves 4 stars. But I had expectations that simply were not met.
