The story The story of the game is that Jak is a 'dark eco freak', so is banished to the desert, and is joined by Daxter, Jak's companion from the famous game 'Jak and Daxter'. Other outcasts from the city ...
  • Pros: Dune buggies and shooting

Jac...

F E G "FG", amazon.co.uk
4 December 2007
  • Summary: Well, I played this for about 2 minutes at a friend's house and I got bored. I was playing the ridiculous gladiator level at the beginning and this random purple electricity came along and Jac suddenly was suspended in mid-air then some lava came through the ground then Jac did a weird dance and died. I did warn you... NEVER play this game.

Finds a middle ground between the mediocrity of the first title and the excellence of the second

drqshadow, Amazon
22 September 2006
  • Summary: In a way, Jak 3 is more of a direct sequel to chapter two than it is a continuation of the storyline that was established in part one. I realize that this was meant to be the end of a journey, a "coming of age" story that follows the title character through his innocence, his adolescence, and finally his ascent into adulthood.

The end has come...is that a good thing?

Ian, Amazon
2 July 2006
  • Summary: Note: This review is spoiler free with regards to the game's story All good things must eventually come to an end, such as the star wars series, the lord of the rings trilogy, and the Jak and Daxter trilogy (not including the racing game and Daxter's own PSP game). After two excellent games, our favorite elfin friend and his furry sidekick come to the last entry in the Jak trilogy. The big question is: Is it a good ending? I'm pleased to say that overall, yes.

Jak 3: a great game!

"qwerty345", amazon.co.uk
16 February 2006
  • Summary: Let me just put this in simple words. Jak 3 is the best jak game ever and i'll explain it in full detail now. Basically from the last game (Jak 2: renegade) Jak has been kicked out of Haven city into a wasteland because of his behaviour with the dark powers. He is later found in the game by wastelanders who rescue him. The game introduces new characters, Jak's father!

Jak 3

C. Nicklas, Amazon
11 December 2005
  • Summary: I know a fun game when I see one. I haven't played Jak 2 but I can tell this game definetely beats it. There are tons of levels with 3 huge worlds to run around in. A cool thing is that you have lots of freedom in what you do. After you complete a mission, on your way to the next one, you can just run around, explore, do minigames, and kill people as long as you want until you feel like doing some work.

Fun characters, solid gameplay, TOO MUCH RACING

Mojo Jojo, Amazon
10 September 2005
  • Summary: J2 set a new standard for game versatility. It had racing, shooting, action platform, puzzle, jetboarding, and strategy. Every kind of gameplay was represented and that was what made it stand out. J3 on the other hand is 75% racing. Since I'm not a huge racing fan, it hurts the game a little for me. Don't get me wrong. The game is fun, and judging it on its merits alone, it deserves 4 stars. But I had expectations that simply were not met.

30 August 2005
  • Summary: 3 years ago, we were introduced to a bloke named Jak and a ugly dude named Daxter, i played Jak and Daxter: the precursor legacy and to be honest, i found it a bit of an eye opener as to how boring certain games are! then Jak 2 came out, i played and completed the game, i was amazed, what an improvement from the previous snoze fest! Then the ultimate conclusion sequel hit the shelves, Jak 3.
