This product exceed my expectations in terms of its functions and features. My disappointment is with its “getting started guide”. A small printed booklet would’ve saved me a lot of time and headache in setting up the device. It was not difficult but some documentation would have been very helpful. Read more
We consolidated applications running across three separate servers onto this one NAS. We Put two new 1TB WD drives in RAID-0 as well as one 2TB external drive for nightly cumulative backups. This was an upgrade from my old OmniNAS. I needed more room. This was a considerable improvement in a number of ways. It did take a bit of time to work out how to sync my folder structure for network sharing but works much better now. I can browse hundreds of files on my TV, run backups and more. Read more
I LOVE this box. I use this as my personal cloud, setup multiple accounts for my wife and kids iPhone pic backup. Access all my music and movies from anywhere. Plus, 2 4TB in raid means my data is safe. Easy to setup and Synology/ YouTube will get u through it. Love it. 5 Stars. Read more
