Summary: Frankly when you buy a pair of headphones at this price you expect the cable to last longer than 6 months especially when they were cared for and always kept in the case. Also I tried every size of cap and trying to get them to stay in your ears especially whilst walking was almost impossible. The foam tips did work but don't last very long and you are then stuck with the expense of continually replacing them. Should have got Shure's!!!
Summary: Brilliant sound for anyone who likes many different types of music, some will find them not bassy enough but that's being picky, I've tried more expensive ones from sennhiser and shure but in my opinnion they're only for audiophiles and lovers of classical music. Unless you spend thousands on speakers you won't get sound this good. Also love them For having replaceable cables. never spend this type of money without this option you will regret it.
Summary: Well I bought these without really reading too many reviews. Just assumed that spending this sort of money meant a great product in all respects. When they arrived however I couldn't believe how uncomfortable they were. I'm big guy, 6' 2" totally normal ears yet these things are designed for elephants. Honestly how many people can honestly say that these are comfortable! Please try before buying. You've been warned!
Summary: My story is similar to many here. The quest for the perfect headphones enevitably led me to these and i too have been through many makes & models prior to these including the ultimate ears SFI5 Pro's. Believe me, once you have had a taste of good IEMs (In Ear Monitors, for those wondering) and the 'OMG-what have i been missing' factor they slap you with, its only a matter of time before you start looking for more.
Summary: Having blown up my SHURE E2C's (and never once having any issues in the 5yrs of owning them), I decided to upgrade a little. After deliberation I decided to try these UE Triple-Fi's. First of all the sound quality I experienced was not good enough to warrant the extra money (£50 for the E2's and £220 for Triple-Fi's) Secondly and perhaps worse, I have recently purchased my 4th replacement cables in only a couple of years.
Summary: I've had these earphones for 9 months now and recently also changed to memory foam buds. The Triple fi absolutely kills my previous Shure 315s (parked in a drawer now). They are better in every aspect but should probably be compared to some of the better Shure equivalent earphones. Used with an iPhone 4S the match is stunning. They are so easily driven that I play on 2-4 volume bars. The phone really controls these little speakers well.
Summary: I have never bought such expensive headphone. I was concerned about the quality. I had to get some as my partner stole my Etymotics and wont give them back so I had a good benchmark to work from. These do the job. Not as comfortable for my narrow ear canals as the etymotics, but the sound is richer and the base excellent. Used with my HTC with "beats audio" the sound reproduction is excellent and the noise elimination very, very good.
Summary: Bought these as a gift following strict instructions by the Birthday Boy himself as these are rated as the absolute best for sound quality by 'What Hi-Fi', several music magazines and many of the big names in the music industry. At home in the real world they're a big hit too - great sound quality as promised and they give depth, range & quality to music you think you know well but which now has more oomph! The only down side(from the gift buyer's perspective!
