    After 5 years with my XPS 420, the motherboard finally packed in. I must say, Dell gave excellent customer service within that time and even offered a new motherboard out of warranty as a good will service gesture! (Turned out I didn't need it but the offer was nice) Pros + Long lasting. 5 Years for a desktop that was used on average 7 hours a day is NOT bad! I think the thermistor was the component to blow so there wasn't much that could be done about it... Read more
