The Samsung SGH-f266 is a slider design phone. Other features include tri-band networks GSM, stereo Bluetooth, LCD (TFT) display, microSD expansion slot for storing files, 2.0-megapixels camera and video capability, FM radio with RDS, and 3.5mm headphone jack. It also comes with a Black with silver accents casing plus it has a multi-lingual user interfaces such as English, French and Spanish language.

The Samsung SGH-f266 measures at 3.82-inch (97mm) in height, 1.88-inch (48mm) in width, 0.51-inch (13mm) in depth and 3.5 ounces (99 grams) in weight. Its display screen provides a clear viewing tool with a 176-by-240-pixels LCD TFT display of 65k colours for the user to view. The SGH-f266 comes with an internal memory of 37MB ROM (shared flash memory) and supports MicroSD card slot for further memory storage capabilities of up to 8GB. It also works on tri-band networks GSM (850, 1800, 1900 MHz), High Speed Data Connectivity (GPRS, EDGE), support Bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology with A2DP, USB connectivity and modem functionality. The device has audio playback that supports digital music file formats such as MP3 and DRM. It is also equipped with a 2.0-megapixels digital camera with 4 x digital zooming capabilities, Effects setting, brightness adjustment, multi-shot plus video recording video to MPEG-4 formats, playback that supports MPEG-4, 3GPP, AMR, ACC and H.263 files. The device also comes with text and multimedia messaging with services like SMS, EMS, MMS, IM (AIM, MSN, Yahoo), email, Picture/ video messaging and text prediction system (T9 technology).
